Fill out your settings on Kali. File and then Settings.
Go in Advanced tab. If you're behind a router, include your local area IP address.
To find this out, go to Start > Run > cmd and then type ipconfig.

Join the Lords 2 server.
In the main kali window, expand Chat Servers, then expand Game Servers. All alphabetically listed. Join Lords 2 server.

I fiddled around but didn't see anything to fix it. I'm unable to access the router. Although I have the correct Admin name and password I have never been able to log in. (It always says require User Name even though it's filled.) Not sure I'm going to be able to use Kali.

Can't join Lords2. ***Your internet port change! It was 61994, but now it appears to be 60969. Usually a router problem blah blah blah.

I tried to private message you on Kali. Yeah it sounds like a router problem, DMZ is turned on but I can't access my router. I use to on the other computer but it blew and have never been able to access it on this one. Even though filling out the User and Password exactly the same it keeps asking for User name. Dunno what's up with it.

Did you fill out your Advanced tab: Local IP# and Port#?
It might also be a good idea, since you're behind a router, to go to the NAT/Proxy tab, Enable Special NAT/Proxy handling and then manually type in your Local IP# in the text area below and then add.

I think you may have a Router/Firewall issue. What issue that is specifically? I don't know.

Yes I have, and also opened the port on my firewall. 2213 is the port it's trying to use.

Well, I really can't think of anything. I'm not able to reach your games, you reach mine, or see each other's text in the Lords2 server. I have no idea what to do.

I realize it has been a few years but...recently found out about LOM:SE mods and have been playing with the GS5R mod. Would love to do some multiplayer if anyone still plays?

Lots of folks play, but some like myself, are busy with work. I've been too busy with work and things that I haven't had the opportunity to sit down and play a round of LOMSE in awhile.

You can play multiplayer through Kali. To the best of my knowledge, besides playing on a LAN, that's the best option. So, how exacly does LAN work? I tried it at home, but cant even create a game..it just doesnt happen anything. goal is to play it via hamachi i.g.

I tried it at home, but cant even create a game..it just doesnt happen anything. goal is to play it via hamachi i.g. LAN only works if you have a compatible IPX/SPX protocol. In 64 bit operating systems, you'll have to try for something else because IPX/SPX is a 16-bit process, and 64-bit machines will only wrap up 32-bit applications (via WOW64.exe, I think it is), such as "IPX Wrapper."
