I know this happened in the unmodded LOMSE as well, but its a bit annoying for the other 7 factions to slowly hate you over time, no matter how many gifts you may give them. Can this be changed, so the death faction can be more like the others?
I know you can trade with villages, but I would just like to be able to make temporary peace with other factions, and not have to worry about fighting all 7 at the same time.

I like the fact that all faiths gradually hate death more over time. I haven't figured out why this is yet, but when I do, I'll likely make more faiths be handled the same way on hard mode

Well if you do find out, let us know how you did it because I might want to experiment with it myself. I like how each faith starts with a level 15 lord on hard - that in itself makes the game much harder than it was before. Which file did you mod to change that?

Maybe you could link the considerations of the AI faiths to the amount of fame you have. As your fame gets higher, the more jealous AI faiths get of you and so they are more likely to harbor more hostile feelings toward you.
Just a suggestion for a future enhancement.

It would be a good idea. But what about just the opposite? The more fame you get, the more you're liked.

It would be a good idea. But what about just the opposite? The more fame you get, the more you're liked. It could be both, based on whether that faith would normally like you or hate you. For example, if the you're Order and the AI is Fire and Life, then Life would like you more over time and Fire would hate you more over time. This is assuming you don't regularly parley with them.

Actually, the best way to maintain relations without them gradually degrading over time is to parley. Even if it's a gift or minor trade.
