What if the Legendary Worm of Earth had a command ability which caused it to automatically teleport to a unit in combat and attack it?
There's two ways I can do this.
Use the Dragon's Breath data, or use the Spit Web data.
The difference is that Dragon's Breath requires the unit to move within a certain range before the ability can be cast. With the Spit Web data, has no range limitation.
If I were to do this, I would need to remove or tone down the Worm's Aftershock on attack.
Your thoughts?

100% on that vote
the worm is a weakish unit compared to other legendarys.
I'd like it if you could tunnel period and move wile impervious to attack.
And yes I like your idea.

You could make a pseudo-tunnel ability by giving the worm the stealth ability, and give it a ridiculously high stealth factor so it can't be detected.

Imagine the fear and power the Earthworm now has. Instantly teleporting to an enemy unit in combat. Target an enemy mage Lord and it's toast, unless he or she has blink or even a HELLUVA lot of armor.
I may have to force the "Weaken" onto the Legendary Worm in combat, which would temporarily remove 1/3 of his attack power for 6 seconds.
But I still don't have access to my website yet, at this time. This weekend I will probably be able to access it again. The website is on a local server.

Over the weekend, I'll try to get the website up.
Also, I will work on enforcing Weaken onto the Worm after using the Tunnel command. Weaken will last 12 seconds.
Weaken, as you may know, will remove one third of the unit's attack power.

Sounds like a good balancing. I'll try to play as Earth next just to try the worm!
I'm thinking that tunneling isn't instant but has a bit of a delay? And that it can't tunnel again for another length of time after that?

And that it can't tunnel again for another length of time after that? The tunnel command is limited to one use per turn. There is a delay on it before it procs. Its casting time is 16 ticks. It will halve the distance between the worm and the target until the Worm is within a two tile radius of the target, up to a maximum of 6 times. Distance is halved every 6 ticks after casting. After casting, the Worm suffers from the "Weaken" condition for 12 seconds, which reduces his attack power by one third (45 attack reduced to 30, still a lot!).

Sounds about right. [By the way], I only surmised the bit about the Stealth halving armor, good to know I was right.
