Greetings fellow undead and pathetic lifers, allow me to take the opportunity to introduce myself before Golgoth purifies your souls.
I am Oblivion, and I hail from the distant land of Washington State. Although recently I have been occupied with FPS's such as Sauerbraten and RedEclipse, and the RTS game Starcraft: Broodwar, my interest in Lords of Magic has flared up, hence why I am here.
A long time ago I played the original LOM. At the time it was a rather entertaining game, which is why I gave LOM:SE a shot once I got my hands on it. I really like the freedom the player has to play this game from any point of view they wish: to make enemies and alliances, to build forces and lead them to victory or defeat in the name of your deity.
I think the features of this game have enormous potential that is now being realized more and more in Mantera's mods. I have to say that I am really impressed with just how much the mod contributed to the stability and playability of the game. I'd say that this mod did for LOM:SE what Broodwar did for Starcraft. I look forward to the future development of this game.
