Okay, there is a work around I just discovered. You have to replace all temples with the temples of the level of your choice. When you create a new map, it is creating the temples without a level and that is what is causing the problem. I'll look into this further.

You mean I should specify that the temple does have an encounter? What's weird is that I found another workaround playing the game. I play the game until I get to the point of taking the temple. Then I save, and switch for the gs5 mod that still works. Then I go back into the game, take the temple, save, and switch back to the current gs5 mod. So even after the game is launched and progress is saved, the different mod versions interpret the temple as having or not having an encounter, with no difference in the underlying map.

Im not saying add an encounter to it. You just have to replace what the map auto-matically generated when you click "New Map."
Step 1: Create New Map. Step 2: Click Dungeons. Step 3: Click Level Step 4: Enter Level of desired Temple Level. Step 5: Click Special. Step 6: Select Great Temple. Step 7: Place Great Temple. Step 8: Repeat for remaining Great Temples.
I hope this clarifies.

I did try replacing one of the temples, but I didn't change the level (because it already said level three and I was satisfied with that, now that your mod interprets 3 as 6 on Hard.

Did the steps I layed out help with the problem? Because the problem is, when you generate a new map with my Mod, the temples won't have any set levels. This is because I changed the temple difficulty and how it functions.

This is because I changed the temple difficulty and how it functions. Actually, it is more complicated than that. Your instructions only work if I choose a level other than level 3. (I tested level 2, 4, and 10). If I set a temple after choosing Level 3, it causes the error. All the temples in this map are set at level 3, except for the Air Temple. I also tested after setting it to have no level at all, and it also works under those conditions. Interestingly enough, the temples that are automatically inserted on generating a new map also work fine. That introduces a workaround, I could replace the temples with working temples of a different level, but I'm wondering why Level 3 doesn't work. Incidentally, it took me a while to set up the Death Temple (I've blocked it off from casual attackers), so I'm reluctant to remove it, and start over, if Level 3 can be fixed so it works again, the way it did before. Also, if level 2 works, why can't level 3?

I suppose the nature of the problem with a bit more complicated than originally thought.
I'll look into this in the coming weeks.
