Ive just quit Eve Online after playing for 3 yrs straight...Some games can be too addicting hehe.. but anyway LOMSE was the first PC game ive ever played and has always been my fav, so after playing Icewind dale - heart of winter, (a game i always wanted to play before my Eve addiction) I decided to try and load up LOMSE. Im glad mantera has kept it alive and I was wondering mantera if you are a game programmer in the making, because if anyone were to make LOM2 it should be you:). Not sure if this forum is alive so post away. PS- is there other ways to gain barter points in the creation screen without hex editing?

Yes, the forum is alive, but quite dormant. There are occasional drifters who come by. Some don't even post, which is okay I guess.
I would be the one known as ManTerA. I have a few aliases I go by, but Boaster and ManTerA are the prime ones these days.
Warcraft II was my first PC game I ever owned. My brother actually got LOM for Christmas. When I saw it, I thought it was amazing and quite ironically magical. He tried keeping me away from the game, claiming I'd scratch the CD. This was about the time where CD burning was just in its early stages. I managed to get my own copy.
After awhile my brother got tired of the game and I bought my own copy of LOMSE. Then Diablo II and Warcraft III surfaced and took stage. Then I had to buy LOMSE again cuz the CD was destroyed. In August of 2004, I began working on the modding and I've made GREAT progress since then. Imagine having to figure everything out with no guide.
I'm glad people enjoy the mod. Wouldn't be quite as nice without the fanfare.
