Wisdom doesn't really do much, unless you're a Mage Class Lord. But I've been playing with the idea of having a natural chance of spell failure. Where there is a small chance, based on Wisdom, you can fail to cast a spell.
Here is what I am thinking of doing.
Say your Mage has 18 wisdom.
1 / 18 = 0.0555~
Convert to a percent, 5.5%, and you have your chance to fail casting a spell.
1 / (Wisdom) = % chance to fail. 1 / 40 Wisdom = 0.025 = 2.5%.
Thieves and Warriors who use artifacts which allow them to cast spells, will have a high chance of spell failure. Warriors generally start with anywhere from 5 to 10 wisdom. 1/5 = 20%, and 1/10 = 10%.
Just an idea. I'll see if I can implement this first, ofcourse.

If you do that though, there should be some ways to enhance wisdom, either permanently or temporarily. You already have a scroll of wisdom, but I almost always give that to my best mage. But if a potion of wisdom were available from Alchemy (relatively small percentage of the time, and it lasted for one turn, and gave a significant wisdom boost (like by 10), that could help balance it a little. I was going to suggest more Alchemy spells for GS6. I'm not sure about that if you're not going to be able to add as many spells as expected, but it might be something to consider.

For now, GS6 is on the back burner. I'm going to finish tweaks and fixes to GS5, with moderate additions or changes. I still may yet add more synergies for other classes rather than just Warrior items.

A potion of wisdom? I don't think that would work, exactly. Overland, yes, it would work. But I prefer Potions of Strength and Dexterity, and if there was a Wisdom, I would have them be combat only. Why? First, because you could use the potions before combat, be extra strong and then add artifacts. Secondly Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom will not apply during battle.
Really, the Potion of Strength should be "Potion of Attack" and the Potion of Dexterity should be "Potion of Armor and Ranged Attack" because like I said, those prime stats do nothing during combat.
Another thing I might do, possibly for combat is make Dexterity and Strength more involved in hit and miss equations. But lately, I've been too tired and tooo busy to do anything or think of anything for LOMSE, sadly.
