PC games similar to Lords of Magic

I've played the Heroes of Might and Magic games, but didn't really like them

I want to play something similar to LOM, and i'm looking for recommendations. I've not played many PC games like it, the nearest ones being the heroes series and Civilization 3 & 4.

or Age of Wonders II Shadow Magic

wonderful games, and as with lords of magic inspired by master of magic

also the "Disciples" series.
Disciples 2 is great and Disciples 3 will be out very soon (in july in UE and US, is alredy out in Russia and Australia)

and in late 2010 Elemental: war of magic (in beta testing phase now)
