I'm pleased to announce that with recent updates, which were achieved through using a second computer, the GS5R2 mod now has two exciting changes.
First change is the nasty bug where attempting re-sync would cause a "fail to load map" message. This has been fixed! In addition, I have been able to add an option to the desync window to allow a player to either "Auto-calc" the battle or "Auto Retreat" from battle. This will allow players to either finish the battle or restart the battle (but any units that died in combat will not give experience when retreating, and could thus lower the overall experience potential gained from an encounter).
The second change is that the LOMSE interface has been reverted in some places. This is actually not a bad thing at all, because now the GS5R2 mod can be played through GameRanger multiplayer service!
So there you have it, two big fixes to the mod which corrects a long existing multi-player flaw and allows the mod to be played over GameRanger.
