I'm compiling a list of hotkeys for Lords of Magic: Special Edition. Because I play only the GS5R2 mod, there may be some that are GS5R2 only. The main reason I am doing this is so that I can send them to these folks for their wonderful 18-button mouse:
In World:
In Combat:
Have I missed any?
Also, which ones are exclusively for GS5R2 and which are from the original game?
I may just draw up on Excel Spreadsheet of all this when I have all the information so that players can have a quick hotkey reference. I will also write a configuration for the Warmouse so they can include it when they release it.
In World:
- Home - Go to the Lord
- End - Go to nearest capital
- Page Up/Down - Rotate map clockwise/counterclockwise
- Esc or Ctl+O - Game Options Menu
- Esc - Exit menu screen, report screen, roster screen
- Arrow Keys - Move around map
- Ctl+Z - Zoom Toggle
- '<','>' - Overland movement speed
- '[',']' - Select world scrolling speed
- '+','-' - Select next/previous party
- Tab or Ctl+I - faith report
- Ctl+X - Exit prompt
- Ctl+C - Cheat command
- Ctl+V - Version
- Ctl+M - Mod version
- Ctl+S - Save Menu
- Ctl+G - Sprites
- Ctl+L - Load Menu
- Ctl+E - End Turn
- Ctl+P - Stats
In Combat:
- Space - Pause/Unpause
- PgUp/PgDn - Rotate clockwise/counterclockwise
- Arrow Keys - Move around combat zone
- Ctl+Right Mouse Click - Select individual unit
- Shift+Right Mouse Click - Group unit with others
- Shift+Ctl+Right Mouse Click - Group individual unit with others
- '-','+' - Select next/previous unit
- '<','>' - Increase/Decrease Combat speed
- '[',']' - Increase/Decrease Scrolling speed
- 1,2, or 3 - Select first, second, or third champion and retinue
- Alt+1,2,or3 - Select and center on first, second, or third champion and retinue
- Shift+1,2,or3 - Group first, second, or third champion and retinue
- Ctl+1,2,or3 - Assign selected group to this hotkey (can be any grouping combination)
