Hey, First of all awesome site! I'm glad to see people still interested in lomse like this. So many good memories from this game, I used to play pilotwings in between turns on snes cause my comp was so slow, but anyways I'm having some technical difficulties right now and I'm hoping i can get some help.
I downloaded lomse from gog.com a few days ago, everything was fine. Then i found this site and got the GS5R mod which also works fine. The problem I have is that when I install the GS5R2 mod and I play the game, there are no numbers anywhere, no unit hp, stats or resources. The game remains playable...but it sucks not being able to see ANY numbers. Does anybody have any ideas of how I can get GS5R2 to work on my comp? I have Windows XP if that makes any difference. Thanks for any help. Oh and really its such a great surprise to find an active lomse community.

The GS5R2 requires the PIC5R2.

Yeah I should have mentioned that I do have PIC5R2.mpq and that I successfully run the GS5R2.bat. Also the gog.com version of lomse might be different since they iron out some bugs and make old games compatible with xp and newer OS. Since this doesn't seem to be a known prob, I'll try to find an older version of the game and see if I can get the mod to work.

Also, the GS5R2.bat file does not rename the PIC5R2.mpq to pic.mpq. GS5R2.bat only renames the GS5R2.mpq to gs.mpq.
