uummm...i think i'm all LoM'ed out...haha, jk jk jk, does each faith have spells that are uniquely for them and their rival faith?? Sort of. For example, Fire has Heat Metal and Water has Light Rain. Visage of Horror vs Bless. Each slow down their rival creature units. Headwind and Slow. Ray of Hope blinds target, reducing missile range to one, effectively eliminated range component of units. Locust Swarm stuns units temporarily. Cone of Cold temporarily slows down units. Entangle immobilizes walking units. Stun immobilizes a unit completely, unable to attack or cast spells. Neutralize averages out a target's [attack and armor], [ranged attack and missile range], as well as [missile and melee resistances]. Order has Leadership, Protection, Morale and Crusade. Chaos has Roulette, Gamble and Change of Fate. Order's Possession to Chaos's Confusion. Death's raising of creatures is unique. Those remain permanent.

So now which of these spells mentioned are actually researchable by each respective faith v.s. need and artifact to use or otherwise special (non researchable)

You can look through the books of the faith you want to know about and look to the left page. It will tell you if the spell is researchable or not.

Your revision date at the bottom of the page states the information is not current. You mod crap constantly What am i suppose to go through the back log of changes since 2005 just so i know whats current?

It will tell you what spell can be researched and cannot be researched. Also, in many cases, the date displayed at the bottom of the page is either the date it was last modified or indeed the date it was initially created.

For example, Level 10 / 3 = 3.333, or just 3. X/3 = For every 3 Levels, you get 1 stat. 2X/5, or 2/5X = For every 5 levels, you get 2 stats. 10X/3, or 10/3X = For every 3 levels, you get 10 stats. Follow?

Well, if you're asking is 1 better than zero, than yes. +1 stat is good, +2 stat is better... so on and so forth.

HHEEEYYY!!! LONG TIME NO SEE!!! i just started playing LoM after a couple months. got some questions. im playing through as water, and i noticed that the ships are good and all...but how can i utilize them if the AI N.E.V.E.R. uses their ships?? and the serpent for that matter...it just seems like a lotta hoo-haa, to summon it, and it's kinda useless:P

The AI typically doesn't build water, unless needed (islands) and typically copies off other players if they have waterborne units.
