Love the mod, but it is normal for my movement to often be 20% of what it should be? I'm wondering whether it was made so you get a really bad movement penalty if you're not on home turf, but it seems that 50% of my turns I can only move 4 or 5 spaces instead of 20 and it seems pretty harsh. The other 50% of the time I can move normally but it almost seems random whether I get hit with this movement penalty or not.

Are you using any spells?

Sometimes I use that spell that gives you +3 or whatever more health each turn. Also I use the overland spell that gives your party extra movement, which reminds me that sometimes when I use this spell it actually reduces my movement points instead of increasing it.

What does the spell description say?

Here is a link to a screenshot of the 3 spells I usually use. img243.imageshack.us/img243/2012/spells.jpgI should probably add that I am using a No CD version of LOMSE.exe so maybe that is causing problems. Besides that I have had no problems except the fact when I scroll on the map towns, buildings, islands etc overlap with other terrain features they shouldn't (i.e. water). But all I have to do is either zoom in, or switch to another party and then back to the original for the map problem to fix itself. -edit- Did not even notice it says halves maximum movement in the spell description. Now I feel kinda dumb.

Do you know what the difference between current movement and maximum movement is?

Right at the beginning of my turn now I have 5 current movement and 21 maximum movement.
Now that you mention it I don't know what many of the new stats that you added in the character info window do or mean (luck, agility, etc). Is there a glossary or readme somewhere on that?

So your movement on the next turn gets reduced?
Before and after casting spells, check the Unit Info panels to detect the changes being made.

For the last 4 turns my movement has always been 5 out of 21 at the beginning of the turn. After I cast both movement spells it goes up to 7 or so (usually), and very very rarely (as in only once or twice) it actually reduces my movement. Sometimes it works as it used to in the original where instead of 21 I end up with 30ish movement after movement spells are cast.
I take it I'm not supposed to have only 5 movement points at the beginning of my turn?

So you've read the Spell tooltip description and you've checked your stats BEFORE & AFTER casting the spell.
Don't cast the spells and end your turn.
Read the spell tooltip, check stats before casting, check stats after casting.
Try this. If you make a mistake, try again.
