The next update will prove to be imcompatable with previous saved games. Units, artifacts and spells will be changed around in some fashion.

Content Changes to be seen:
Possible Changes Experience Multiplyer bonuses based on Wisdom. Example #1: 10 wisdom will provide 1.01 experience bonus multiplyer. Example #1: 11 wisdom will provide 1.01 experience bonus multiplyer.
This is not a garantee at this point.
Stronghold initiate management will improve (mainly for multiplayer reasons). Initiates will be increased by 5, if available. If you have 4 or less, or 96 or more initiates, the incriment will be one instead of five. When you decrease initiates in the stronghold, it will go down by 3 rather than 5, for better management. However, if less than 3 are available for placement, it will decrease by 3.
I soon may yet change military units to not be affected by strength, dexterity, or wisdom modifiers to allow for better stat control.
For all non-champions, I just want the unit's strength, dexterity, or wisdom to be a representative number rather than an effectial number. Like, Strength won't directly affect attack values, but you can get an idea of how strong the unit actually is.
So effectively, over all, what I want is just for Champions to be affected by the 3 basic stat modifiers (Str, Dex, Wis).
Also some spell names and spell file names will be changed, for example Summon Golem is changed to "Summon Earth Element." The spell name Roccapotion changed to Alchemy. Cripple will be removed.
The same may also happen for some artifacts.

Artifact changes
Custom Artifacts are organized into their own folders: scrolls, combat, misc.
Scroll artifact file names and reference names will be changed. I.e. scroll_experience_01 changes to scroll_of_experience_01 and scroll_recovery_01 changes to scroll_of_health_recovery_01. Scroll_health_01 changes to scroll_of_life_01
New artifact scrolls: scroll_of_health_recovery_02 scroll_of_life_02 scroll_of_mana_02 scroll_of_movement_02
Artifact names like "Scroll of Muscle" changes to "Greater Scroll of Strength" while the "Scroll of Strength" changes to "Lesser Scroll of Strength."
With new life, mana, movement and health recovery scrolls (02), the old ones (01) were reduced and made "Lesser Scrolls" while the new ones were made "Greater Scrolls" and effectively are what the old (01) scrolls used to do.

The following spell changes will be in the next GS5B update. Spells such as Cone of Cold, Firestorm, Inferno, Ray of Hope, Locust and Tremor all have additional combat effects.
Cone of Cold will slow units, much the way Headwind does, for 6 seconds.
Firestorm will temporarily reduce the maximum hitpoints of affected units by 2, for 5 seconds.
Inferno will reduce the Luck of all affected units by 2, for 4 seconds.
Ray of Hope will temporarily reduce the Sight Radius and Missile Range of the affected units. However, since Sight Radius is not an actual factor in combat, it really does not do anything. The missile range of the affected units is reduced to 1. The duration of these affects is based on the caster's level. A level 10 caster would reduce the missile range and sight radius for 8.3 seconds, but the duration is capped at 8 seconds. So a level 9 caster will be sufficient enough to get the full benefits of the spell.
Locusts will temporarily stun the effected enemy units for 2 seconds.
Tremor will increase the attack and hit recovery times of the affected units for 8 seconds. The increase of these stats is based on 1X Caster Level. And remember that the higher the attack and hit recovery times, the unit takes longer to make consecutive attacks and able to attack again after being hit.
Since one tick is one tenth of a second, the most the units can be slowed is by 15 ticks, or 1.5 seconds.
