Here are some of the fun things/Glitchs/bugs i have encountered: 1) when casting a whole bunch of spells (ussaly gradual healing and walking further spells) on anything, it takes a while to highlight them while in combat, and ussaly the dark grey box with thier basic status and name and class are spammed. 2) you can summon skeletons/shades from a subdued champion 3) in a multiple level dungeon, if u cast possession on any creature and then ressurect them and have them proceed to the next area, and have your team go to the world map, the game closes on it self. 4) its possible but not easy, but i got it timed just right so u can subdue and possess an enemy at the same time. you can ressurect the subdued as well, but i dont know what effects it would have on a normal comrade. 5) you can dispell possession, all it does it let the enemy live though, even if they retreat. 6) you can dispell Heroic Demise (though im sure you all know that one) 7) if you surround a cave/dungeon/any building with a maruading party inside, and you possess + dispell and you win combat BUT make them retreat (i use a magician earth meld spell [Laugh out Loud]) you will have temerary access to their party's command pane on the world map, if they have champions, you can make them wield artifacts. if you want, u can dismiss the entire party. if you wanna make things hard, you can type the zilla code 9 times and the entire enemy's party will disappear in place of 9 dragons. (you cant combine parties, cast spells on the map, seperate the party, access any buildings if inside of one.)
8) if you kill off a possessed enemy and reincarnate them, then reincarnation is yours to command after you win the battle (doesn't always work and has some advantages with champions).
9) if you hit the "esc" button on your keyboard when you see a screen that says "your thief has been aprehended while tring to free a prisoner" then you wont lose your theif (good to use with lords )
10) in legends of urak, you can autocalc the kraken in the crispen fire lord quest when in the trade screen (i think you might know that one)
More to come...

Unmodded:
1. Subdue non-champions by being surrounded by units then attempting to subdue a champion. Knocks out any units in the way.
2. In Lord Editor, drag an artifact to the top artifact window, then drag to character inventory to get two of that item.
3. When attacked while in a sprite by a non-marauding party, subduing champions transfers complete ownership.
4. Going into the Lord Editor after selecting a faith, loading up a Custom Lord file, then canceling, then re-opening the Lord Editor will cause the party opened up in the Lord Editor to be of the same faith as the previously loaded up Custom Lord file. Potentially allowing the game to have two faiths of the same type be played.
5. Type in bingo cheat on another player's turn and it provides them with the resource bonus.

Does #3 work on lords?

Nope. Lords and Marauders are automatically slain after combat when captured. But in the GS5R mod, it is not possible to subdue a Leader, Heir, Lord or Special Champion.

So is there a way to subdue a Orc Warlord or witch or something and have them fight on your side in the unmodded version? I never played a thief class very much so I never experimented.

I can confirm that the answer is no,
Ive possessed and subdued maraduers at the same time, they are considered dead at that point and no combination of spells wiether they be polymorph other, dispell, earth meld, ressurecation, reincarnations or walk amoung us will effect it otherwise.
new glitchs (I have confirmed these with the mod due to it's ability to display magic resistances):
1)if you equip "armor of inspiration" on the proper order unit (lord, lancelot or regular follower or mercenary) while haveing any other units in your party and then haveing that unit leave the party, the other units that were in the party still have the armor's bonus, this effect can be duplicated if u remove the armor before joining the party again then repeating the process. (if you do this enough you can realy absorb vortex and spinning blade spells boosting your hp to impossible limits otherwise.)
Have you ever seen a brownie take down an army of men before? if u have the armor, the order unit, and the proper mages, it can be done [Laugh out Loud].
2)useing the cloak of the vampire, ring of arcana, a fire mage and the sacred forge, you can create a vast number of Super magicly resistant vampyres. first, use the forge, second, equip the items (you will get both items back if done properly so dont worry) ,third, go fight and ALMOST die from enemy attacks (i think it is smart to the point of knowing when u hurt yourself, casting spells on yourself wont work). when you turn into a vampire then run away and repeat the recipe untill u are satisfied. serveral things to remember however:
-This can be done with a fire lord to make a vampyre lord HOWEVER i DON'T recomend this as a fire lord with proper training and spells (and the same equipment almost) can realy do some serious damage
-This can be done with any other artifacts that are equipable, but I found that the ring of arcana had the most benifits in the way of magic resistance.
-You can do this with other mages (fire, earth,Death and chaos only) but since they dont have the benifits of the forge, your going to have to rough it out. (you can combine this with the armor of inspiration glitch tho) hahaha.
- I don't know if this works with lichs, but its not worth it. You lose life and fire magic resistance and since the lich is only obtainable once per normal game, I don't recomend it.
- some of the stats hop over to the vampyre, im not sure how this works or why. but if ur interested in finding out, be my guest. The artifacts unequip themselves when u cross over the vampyre line so you dont have their special effects.
-Vampyre transformations are permanent, no exceptions. be prepared to never see the same face of the fire mage again.
-Vampyres (even vampyre lords) cost crystals, be prepared to pay for what you have. (though Now im curious what will happen if someone only has a vampyre lord and runs out of crystals.….. hmm.….

I found a glitch today. When you get a friend's attitude toward you to devotion, there is a chance he may either spy, steal,or attack you for no reason.(for some reason the order people do this the most, even when their attitude is not at devotion)

I play LoMSE v3.00, unmodded, so I'm not sure if these will work with a modded game.
1. I think this would go under glitches, but it's more of a cheat. This will give you infinite points in the custom lord creation screen. Buy some spells. Save your file. Load the file. Sell your spells and save the file. Load the file. You'll have the points from the spells and the spells themselves. Warning: you can only keep three "lines" of spells before they do start getting erased (replaced by new ones). You can keep buying spells, saving, selling, saving, and loading. I think you can buy all the artifacts this way (get enough points), but I'm not sure. You can buy a lot.
2. Free warrior spirit. Have a full set of 9 regular units and a wizard in a battle. Summon a warrior spirit (works better if you summon more than one). Sometimes, the spirit will stay alive after the battle.
3. Units start in wrong place. Sometimes, when you go to the second level of a dungeon (water fort, manor, cavern, etc.), a few of your non-hero units will start behind the enemy lines, on the opposite side of the battle, usually 1-3. You can use them as a good distraction as you set up your main force.
4. Barracks/theive's guild/mage tower is the special building (built at the temple). If you select one of the 3 main buildings in your central area that has units in it while you wait for your turn and click around in the building (selecting units, upgrade, etc), it will occasionally act like the races unique building. You can use it (take vows of knighthood as order or sacrafice prisoners as death), and it will work, even if you don't have the unique building built yet.

Found another heavy GS5 mod glitch:
You can have endless lords (for example all possible lords from every faith) by using the lord editor.
1. step: cheat barter points (with spell selling bug)
2. now fill your champ/lord slots by adding any champ or lord to the free slots. then drag and drop as many lords as you want to a free slot reserved for common units. the newly added lords won't be displayed on the army screen but on the left side you will see the avatar from the latest lord. ingame you will have all lords you have added within your starting army. the avatars won't be displayed here and you cannot click them, but you can see them on the map and you simply have to split the army again and again until you got all lords splitted from the starting army.

At the moment the two that I recall are exclusive to a couple flying units.
The Pegasus rider reversed in his saddle when facing in some directions and balkoth flying and low or very high in relation to the ground on both the battle screen and world map.

I remember there was a way to take possessed, resurrected, and combat only units out of combat for keeps. It was accidental and I don't think I was able to repeat the glitch.

I just accidently eradicated Mordred in the order quest... he was trying to take my red city, which I only had guarded by a stag... In Red City, you can only retreat from the 2nd level. So I had my stag run downstairs, then retreated. Poof. Mordred was apprently eaten by the city, my stag escaped and was standing outside the city, and, as an extra bonus, I now had a new and never seen before stag INSIDE the city.
Tested it several times, happened each time. Wonder what would've happened if I had Arthur in there???

Hi everyone,
I've been lurking here for quite some time but thought I'd pop on to post about something I've been toying with.
What's the very quickest you've been able to beat vanilla LOMSE? If I use the Air Thief Lord I've found you can actually beat it in 2-3 turns. It comes down to mainly luck in how fast you can find Balkoth, what his party is when you find him and how lucky you are in subduing. You can do it well enough with the standard Air Thief Lord too. Of course getting the end game video takes a lot longer but it's easier to some extent as Death is gone (watch out for the marauding party it generates...it hurts).
