Greetings,
i downloaded both parts of megaupload. That was the easy part, however, whenever i try to mount the lomse.iso image with daemon tool, i get a silver pop up box, with only the install or exit buttons avaible. After pressing the install button, nothing happens. Several attempts later, i manually explore the cd, found the setup.exe, but also, whenever i try running it, nothing happens.
i lauch the lomse.exe file, i get the intro cinematic and starting screen, but whenver i try clicking on new game or whatver, its prompts for the cd...
do all my problems are correlated to the fact that im a vista user?
regards, rojam

Haven't had to deal with it, so I don't know. You'll just have to try different things.

Make sure you have the mod installed? Sorry I cant be more help.

Microsoft has announced it will continue liscensing of Windows XP until June of 2009 *which is an extension from their original plan of march 2008* The reasoning microsoft has given was the substantial amount of negative feedback on vista from users AND businesses. So XP is to be continued until 2009 (until microsoft extends the liscensing again because vista is such a crappy OS)
Buy a copy get it now... save it and hold on to it forever.. when you are tired of microsofts bullcrap do what the rest of us have done and switch to linux (its free and better)

Hello! LOMSE works fine under windows Vista if you boot it in safe mode with networking. It does crash rarely, but I'm hopeing the g5 mod fixes this.

The same thing actually happened to me, but in my case the solution came simply. I gave up trying, went to wash the dishes, and voila! My PC is full of windows all trying to install LOMSE at the same time. Apparently Windows just needs quite a bit more time to process these things. I don't guarantee it'll work, but do try leaving your PC alone for around 20 minutes after clicking "install".

Installing on Vista:
Mount the image on Daemon tools and then restart your machine. Run the setup.exe program as an administrator and it should install fine. That's what worked for me.
