Firstly, id like to thank you for the mod for this great game to make it even greater!! thanks!
Been following the Idea thread for the LOM:II theres alot of well thought out stuff there very cool. wish they would make a MMO of this game. so many elements already to give it a good start and enough fantasy content to appeal to lots of people.
I noticed some of you guys played EQ and have been using that as an idea base to come up with some ideas. i never played it myself i use to play Asheron's Call when it was first around, that was an awesome sandbox game such an experience until expansions(spoiled the game). some elements of that could go really well into such a world as Urak such as interface and actual roaming of the game world. like to idea of being able to have a choice of everything but not having everything. such as a Warrior who knows how to enchant his own sword, or heal his own wounds never both. for ability to adventure alone. he would never be as powerful as a duo warrior and enchanter.
sorry I'm really bad at writing stuff, i always loose track and go onto something else
anyhow question; what is the multi-player game of LOM:SE like? never tried it would like to but a few questions id like to ask.
does it take along time? how long usually?
is the game speed static? or can it be changed( i usually play on 30' world and 25-28combat.
what happens if your lord dies? if it game over or can you repeat before he died if its a battle with a dungeon?
so i assume decisions are more final, no entering level 8 caves unless sure can win or game over.
are battles done by auto calc? or can the person play them and does that mean the other player has to sit idle until he is finished?
While waiting for other players to finish their turn, can set units to travel places so when its your go u can press the 'move all' button to cut down waiting times?
Can you use the custom start during multi-player, so can start with own army, spells, artifacts?
I run LOM:SE on vista, so was wondering a few questions in-case i decide to partition my HD so i can play this on-line if possible.
Thanks alot if any answers to these questions.
Keep up the good work!
