I'm working on a secondary Orc Champion that can be used as Warrior Champions while playing as the Orc Warlord.
Simply put, the Orc Warlord will have his own respective champion type.
The Orc Warrior will be set as WMF and be the regular champion type. The Orc Warlord will be set as LD1 and be set as the Lord type.
The Orc Warrior will be limited to Level 10 and have lower stats than it's counter part at equal levels.
The Orc Warrior, unlike the Orc Warlord, will start as Level 1 and not as Level 3. The Orc Warlord will remain as starting as Level 3.
To be the Orc Warlord as a Leader type, the same procedure will follow and he will be slightly colorized as a browner color. I am working on trying to work this so he will always appear this way.

And I have figured out a way to add palette effects to units without the need of manually setting up each unit. I used data in 'gs\levlmods5.gs' to accomplish this.
Also, I will be working towards the same thing for Witches.
Witch Lord be code LD1. Witch remain code WZ2.
Basically Witch Lord will be Lord to the Witch Champion, for example the same way a Punisher Lord is to the Fire Thief Punisher.
The new Witch Lord (LD1) will be used as a Leader and the new Witch will be used as a Champion.
If the Chaos Leader is a Witch Lord or Orc Warlord, that player will be able to Train or Hire Orc Warriors or Witches (as spell casters).
I will do this in steps. I have already done the Orc Warrior/Warlord deal. The Witch will follow in an update after this.

so you useing a new unit or just a browner warlord The Warlord is colorized brown and the Orc Champion is not colorized. That's how they will be distinguishable. The Orc Warlord LD1 can reach Level 15. The Orc Warrior WMF can reach Level 10. The Orc Warlord is the Lord version. The Orc Warrior is the Champion version.

I like this orc warrior and witch idea I guess they will be included in your next update of the mod? Any idea of when that might happen?

Is it supposed to be that the Orc can only hire their Orc Infantry and Wolfriders and not the regular Berserkers, etc. Same with the Witch, right? She can hire Goblin Archers.

If the leader of Chaos is the Orc Warlord or Witch Lord, then Orc Warriors, Orc Spearmen, Wolf Riders, Goblin Archers and Witch can be trained (as opposed to just being hired as Mercenaries from village buildings) instead of Beast Riders, Shamans, Berserkers, Raiders and Stickthrowers. Pretty neat ain't it?

The Orc Warlord's Rally Troops ability doesn't seem to work. Well it doesn't on my wolfriders at least.

This was an oversight on my part. The rally for the CHWMF will work, but not CHLD1, which is what the Orc Warlord was effectively moved to.

Hmmm, well I just got around to testing this (sorry worked a 12 hr day at work) and the Orc Warlord seems to be rallying troops just fine.
Maybe what happened was is the Orc Warlord was trying to rally a group of units that were higher in level. That is the only case I can think of where this would be a problem.
Also Orc Warlord's wisdom starts at 5, so he won't be getting a wisdom bonus in his rally ability. Wisdom bonus = Wisdom/10. This Wisdom Bonus will offset Level differences.

The Orc Warlord can't rally troops at an equal level to or higher than his own, but yeah units below his level get the bonus. He levels up really slowly, and has a slow attack speed, but I like it, this game needs to be more difficult ;D
Does the barbarian arena do anything for orcs and goblins?

Yes, but not Goblins summoned from the tower. Goblin Archers, however, can receive the bonus.
