Hey everyone, I've been a lover of the GS mod series for a while now (I think back when it was still only 5 beta?) However, I recently decided to start playing LoM:SE again, so I checked back up. It looks like the progress is fantastic, amazing work guys!
I am happy to say that LoM:SE is one of my favorite games of all time; there is just something about it that is so unique, so charming, and so awesome to play. As a big time role-player, many of the concepts from LoM:SE have become staples of how I think of fantasy ideas such as magic, elements, and conflicts between opposites (Yes, I'm a nerd ). To know that there are so many other lovers of the game, and even a dedicated group who would see to it that it only gets better... well, that is just amazing.
Unfortunately, I do also have a rather severe question to ask. I rather paranoid when it comes to the internet; thus, when anything I have even remotely suggests I might come across malware, I refuse to deal with the subject in question until I can get a solid answer otherwise. I was just trying to download the PIC5R3.mpq; however, when I began downloading, my McAfee Site Advisor warned me of potential malware. Given that this has not been a problem in past downloads, and my equal distrust of big companies' quality, I am torn between considering it rubbish, yet also still want to be cautious. So I am asking of anyone who has downloaded it, is there anything that could be picked up as spyware, adware, etc. by anti-malware programs?
Sorry again for making my first post be something other than a well deserved praise for you guys. I just really love this mod, and I don't want to be kept from playing it because my site advisor is being silly.
