uhh well.…..uh.…..ok ill start ……. i now know basic editing(thanks boaster) and am makein "new units" like war hounds(hounds rename to war hounds with attack strength higher costs and good fighter unit)
any ideas i would love em thanks guys and a few girls

Since current scouts can gain experience I'd like to see them toughened up. Normally my scouts fail to succeed against even other scouts. Although I'm not sure how much room there is for two modders in one small forum community. Maybe you and mantra can trade off eachoter.

i have toughed up some scouts such and my favorite war hound as said above im askin for new ideas for scouts (like battle imps or somethin) this is more like a give me names thing

i always wanted to see the winged horseies in groups of three and leveling up that would be awsome

i have already made the pagases come in groups of three but they are weaker but they level up i feel they complament the "Elven Prince"

When I get ready to release the PIC5R3, I will be adding new Special Champions which include a Troll King for Earth and a Pegasus Lord dubbed "Elven Prince" who casts magic and is considered a Wizard.

I may also add a Demon Lord for Fire, who may be considered a Thief but not have Stealth, Detection or ability to Subdue.

There's also the possibility of an Air Elemental Lord for Air.

But, the latter two are not definite up to this point.

So yes, a Rock Troll Champion is an actual possibility now.

I was trying hard today to figure out how to do it and I found what I was looking for. Then through trial and error, I finally figured out what I needed to do.

So a Rock Troll Champion, a Life Pegasus Lord, Demon Lord, etc.… are now real possibilities.

I'm also working on a toned down Orc Warrior and Witch that can be used in conjunction with the Orc Warlord and Witch Lord.

These new Champions will have their own unit codes that were previously not there.

DEATH LDR is Balkoth. No other faith uses LDR.
CHAOS WMF is Orc Warlord. No other faith uses WMF.

WZ2 is currently used by CHAOS and DEATH, but require a Mage in the Great Temple to transform.

ORDER LD1/LD2/LD3 are the Siegfried characters. No other faith uses these codes.

WATER TF1 is the Valkyrie. No other faith uses this code.


I can even create new codes for champions, if I don't want them to be "Special Champions."

XFT for Extra Fighter. XTF for Extra Thief. XWZ for Extra Wizard.

I can even break faith boundaries for units, with a Arch Demon that's a Fire Unit.


Only major problem is these new codes will not have Unit portraits. I'll have to create a work-around for this issue.

A work around was managed and I've also utilized an unused character stat: 'portrait_doodad'.

And presently, the unit data does exist within the mod already, he's just not activated as a unit. So don't think I'm stealing any ideas from you. This was done a long time ago. You could even look back to mod updates from a year ago, and it'll be there (but was incomplete until just a month ago). The file would be 'units/lildr.gs'.

boaster i nver tryed to steal unit while i was editing life units i saw a file LILDR so i opened it wonderin what it wa and i saw the same exact feat i tryed to acomplish i was happy to see it it works grate i cant wait till you put it in game hate havein to use cheats to get it so ;D ;D cool ;D ;D

boaster thanks to you i have succeded in someting interesting.… i have mad a lizardman and slinger lord for water (tho not commplet but very close) i have learned it is IMPOSSABLE to change a lord to be diffrent in start without useing cheats or speacal names it will screw the game sideways if i make something... interesting ill let you know thanks for all the help

hay boaster i did a little editing on the elven prince he now has a ranged attack so now he throws spears(orc3) and it all works grate so now hes the elven balkoth

Wow how can I get the elven prince on pegasus? I'm using the most up to date version of the GS, is there a code I have to put in?

The Pegasus battalion sounds good too though I'd make it use just 2 Units as 3 is abit over the top plus it will look too crowded in game with all those wings flapping about.

You can use the cheat window to create units. You can get him that way.

Well I am new here and this is my first post. First thing I have to say is THANK YOU Mantera. I am a long time LOMSE player and I just added your mod and I love it. But in regards to this bord and the idea of adding new units I have to say please do. Go crazy add whatever you want [Laugh out Loud]. I love the idea of a demon lord, troll king and Elven Prince.

Otherwise I saw you said you can get the Elven Prince from the cheat menu, I was curious what the code is, I want to try him out [Laugh out Loud].
