does it kill legendaries? If so, would the opposing faction be able to escape in time? If not, is the ability to instantly kill a legendary (1 per game restricted) too powerful?

Lost Soul instantly kills a unit, except in the case of Unique units. Lords, Special Champions, Leaders or Heirs are not killed by contact with the spell. Instead, their health is reduced to one. This spell is fatal to Legendary Creatures.

legendarys shouldnt die in one spell there...well legendary maybe they should alo only go to 1 like lords n stuff Perhaps. But Legendary Creatures will not receive special status in my mod. Though they are Legendary Creatures, your most POWERFUL CREATURES. I have, for awhile, considered changing Lost Soul to consider Levels. Example: if the target level is above the caster level, it reduces health by 75%. Otherwise it reduces health by 100%. In the case of Legendaries who are in most cases Level 15, will only be subject to death by this spell from a Lord or Special Champion of equal level. But since Lost Soul is so little used and is so powerfully used (it cannot be found as a Scroll in hard, cannot be a randomly chosen spell on the Chaos Chalice, and cannot be found in the scroll of sages), it's application is strictly used in small battles where the targets are few, or in large battles where both sides have enough protection. Small vs Large battles, yes, if you're on the larger side.

"But since Lost Soul is so little used and is so powerfully used (it cannot be found as a Scroll in hard, cannot be a randomly chosen spell on the Chaos Chalice, and cannot be found in the scroll of sages)"
By saying this you completly screwed yourself in a previous argument where you stated "What if the legendary knight has a scroll of the lost soul? Watch out."
By the way just so you know i playtest on hard. and only hard Since you cant give an answer about what diffilculty is truest for your vision of the game i just pick the hardest one for balencing issues.
not to mention the chances of actually finding a scroll of lost soul. What the point in saying well you can if i say yeah i can bout how often will i actually get the chance
Feasibility. Thats what is questioned

I dunno what is mine? Just because i have a dissenting opinion doesn't mean i have a problem. None of us would evolve as a race if we all thought the same. I think its al part of the being human thing. So my problem? Is it that i'm human?
Furthermore can you start a new post if what you're posting is not relivent to the conversation? Just a request to keep things more organized for folks.

My point of saying that the Legendary Knight could wield a scroll of Lost Soul is indifferent to the fact that one cannot be found on Hard mode. The Scroll of Lost Soul is still in the game. If in fact he did have a Scroll of Lost Soul, he would be able to kill any Legendary Creature (as both the spell and the Legendary Creatures stand).

understandable. i was confused by your post. to me it sounded like this was a surefire constant as opposed to "sometimes you can counter with" for my own persona testing can you recomend that hard be the best option for testingin order to really be able to pinpoint weakness as they are mroe exxagerated on hard mode? [By the way] i found a fire lady with a split personaity. She speaks in 3rd person Attachments:

She speaks in 3rd person True. The game has always behaved that way. This has existed in the original unmodded LOM.
