I took over the Order city, and their lord and sir launcelot are the only two units remaining. I want to steal Sir Launcelot before offing the lord if possible. I know posession and reincarantion, but I don't think that works on Legendaries. (I wanted to do possess + kill + reincarnate trick). Either way, posession doesn't work on last unit in a group, and sir L is by himself. If I gift him some units or let him take over a city he doesn't group with anyone. If I try to barter with the leader for Sir L, he doesn't even show up on the Units for trade tab.
Any suggestions other than "kill them both"?

You should be able to, I think.
Although, I might have removed that possibility. I don't remember.

Do you have any suggestions to try? If Lancelot is within your view, visible and not covered by the fog of war, and you cannot select him as a unit in the trade window, then you simply cannot trade for him. |

Looks like no go on that then. I figured out how to get him to join the party - gift them another low level warrior, then have a thief capture both, and release the newly formed prisoner party. Still looks like the posess + dispel + resurrect loophole is closed. Can't even possess Sir L. Off with their heads it is!
