In another life I was a Warrior of Order called TrueSword for his legendary sword that could not be parried and would break shields. Now I am Dir, the Elven Warlord that has rallied the faiths. Air, Chaos and Order joined my cause in quick succession as I liberated their Great Temples, after having already secured Life's holy site.
I then forged alliances with Water, Earth and Fire and claimed all the villages across Urak, bringing them under my protection. Then Balkoth's wrath fell upon my allies. Water fell first, then Earth. Finally Fire's lord was slain. I seized their capitals and structures for my cause as they flew towards Balkoth, screaming for his black blood.
Now, the Alliance of the Seven stands, gathering for the final, inevitable struggle with Death. I travel swiftly across Urak, imparting my combat skills to the various warrior guilds, as my Enchantress shares her magical expertise with the Wizard Guilds and and our Thief demonstrates her cunning to the Thieves of the Alliance of the Seven.
Our sorcerers and sorceresses are ceaselessly researching spells of the seven faiths, even as Death encroaches on our borders, harassing our villages. Garrisons are forced to retreat before Balkoth's wrath. Even with the knights of my former King, Arthur, brought forth from the mists of time, the future is grim. Life must strike decisively, or Death will rule eternally over a realm of shadows, dust and oblivion...
Other (not part of the story): Thanks to everyone who was helping me use DaemonTools to play LOMSE. We got it in the end, but had to reformat the hard drive. Good news is that we found LOMSE on E-Bay for a good price and grabbed it. Playing again and it's a ton of fun.
