Hey, I'm wondering how I can get units like a witch, trolls, and orc-riders in my party at the beginning (with the lord-editor). I like how the gs2 has orcs and the orc chieftain available, and I'm wondering how I can get these other units in to start with them. I'm aware of the gs5 mods that allow you to purchase orc riders at villages. However, I think it would be cool to get them (1st) to start out with in your party and (2nd) for use in the unmodded or slightly modded (gs0-2) version, which I still like to play for its simplicity and nostalgia. (Don't get me wrong, the GS5 is great, but it's also fun to return to the original, but this time with a witch and orc riders on your side)! I noticed that in gs2 there are lots of slots full of orcs...wondering if you were planning on putting other units in these slots? Anyway, any help with this would be appreciated.

In the GS5R3 if you pick a Chaos Warrior and enter the right name, you will start out as an Orc Warlord. Also, if you select the Chaos Wizard and enter the right name, you will start out as a Witch Lord. In both cases, your entourage/starting army will be transformed as well. However, in the Lord Editor he army will not be transformed.
Additionally as a Witch or Orc Warlord, in your home Barracks and Guild you can train Orc and Goblin Marauder units. So you don't need to access a village and will not need to hire them as Mercenaries.
Hiring Orc, Goblin, Troll, or Centaur Mercenaries from Villages was to provide players access to them, but in limited fashion and at great price (Level 6 Military Class units!).
As far as the Lord Editor allowing for the selection of Marauder type units again, well, that could be dicey or problematic. This was the case before, however it did work decently.
Also the GS-Zero mod is ready for a beta release. But I've got caught up in making fixes to the GS5R3 as of late and making some break thru fixes for multiplayer.
