Here is a map I've been working on, and the basic story behind it: Violent cataclysms in ages past have transformed the land of Urak into two great mountains, one of fire, the other of ice and snow, and the evil and good faiths have clustered around one of the two mountains. Atop the ice mountain is the great fortress of Krystallus, built many years ago by High King Saebrynn and his followers. The regions of Order, Water, and Life exist on the valleys below the mount. The fire worshippers congregate around the fiery mount of Ragnar Fleshbrand, and the Chaos, Earth, and Death regions surround. Each region has 12 of each resource in various encounters (death has 15), and the map contains other small areas, such as the Isle of the Orc Lords, the seven Liches (scattered around the map), and the fortress of Aran the Mad, an Order region which can only be reached by enchantment. Edit: Additionally, the two islands are separated by water. The idea is that you win over or destroy similar faiths before taking on all four of your enemies on their territory. Let me know what you think of this map. Attachments:

Pretty sweet map. I can tell it took you a long time to build.

Wow! Elevation crazy~! You've made a very bold map. I started a new game in it to check it out, but after getting my first glimpse (i was going to play blind), i couldn't resist the temptation to unshadow the map to look it over.
Your timing is most spectacular, too, because I'm almost ready to unveil my own map. I'm tickled to be able to be part of the fun.
*edit* Oh! I've graduated to level 1. I feel so... not yet elite. But everyone starts somewhere!

Wooo! Big elevations!? Unconventional faith placement??? I wanna try!!! ;D ;D In this case, you should also try Myrddin's savegame quests, A Call For Heroes and Malice Immortal while I am finishing my first in-game quest. Myrddin's work is obviously done with effort, and is a must-have for every LOM fan. Moreover, you can tell me your email and I can provide you the LOM map collection and Savegame Quest Collection, all at once.

I'll check that out, too, then when I get off of work. I saw the post for it, but the way the posts left off it sounded like it had yet some bug fixing to do. I take it that it is completed?

No bugfixing is possible in hexed quests. They are playable enough though. The files are sent, check your email.

Received, downloaded and backed up on multiple devices. Thanks again!
I noticed that the map files are separated into folders. I will need to copy and paste the map files themselves, bare, into the LOM map folder, yes?
Also, for the quests, I noticed that some book image files are separate from the .sav quest files, in their own folder.
Do I need to copy and paste them in a special way into the main LOM game folder?
Sorry for the foolish questions, I've just never seen a file setup like that. Respond at your convenience, buddy. No rush.

The SCN files are the custom maps. You should move them to "Map" directory in your LOMSE folder to make the game see them.
The SAV files are the savegame quests. You should place them to "Savegame" folder and load as saved games.
All files which don't fit this category are just descriptions, additional files which help to know about maps/quests more. You can place them wherever it suits fine for you.
Speaking of books, they are just images which serve as introduction. Actually, to read the winning pages of A Call For Heroes Quest, you will have to enter password (Victory.rar). The password is the surname of the Necromancer in Balkoth the Destroyer's party, all figures lowercase.
