I chose a 256x256 map and I frequently experience problems with all my sprites moved to some squares from their original location while loading the map. Looks like I've already fucked up my quest map, cause I save often and now - all my sprites are moved irreversibly, whatever I do.
Is there a way to deal with this bug? Does it affect original 128x128 maps?

If you have sprites moving around, you might want to re-center the map BEFORE you place them.
This can be done by selecting the magnifying glass icons.

Okay, I will check it out. Next questions:
- What does "VARIED ROTATIONS ON/OFF" mean? - Is there a topic on this forum where I can read something about it?
also
- Is it technically possible to edit SMP files? - If so, did you use some kind of SMP editor or just used existing files while adding some new encounters in the game?

I don't know, to all of those questions.

One thing I do to to avoid the moving sprites is to place every encounter and sprite that I can with the original LOMSE gs.mpq (in which this problem does not exist). Then I switch to the mod and place the other encounter types (mines, brews, etc) while remembering to use the magnifying glass, like Boaster said, every time I move to a new screen.

Yeah, thanks a lot. I've discovered the reason now - sprites move because of intense map scrolling, especially when scrolling through the all world. I guess this bug exists because of mouse scrolling fix applied in the mod. Nevertheless, I've already done too much, so I guess I will have to place all sprites left as they are without special map centering but more carefully - drawing new terrain is easier.

Sprites continue moving. The only thing that helps - re-centering map every time I scroll for approximately one-one and a half screen or editing everything in zoom-out mode. They move even in the game, in all maps including default Urak map. This is the only bad thing I've met in GS5R3 mod so far. So, playing on a map with size larger than minimal causes problems.
Only the users who play with Center Move On do not notice it much, because re-centering is done automatically every time they push "Next Party" button or move farther than screen shows.
Is there a way to write automatic re-centering manually into the game? This bug annoys so much and the roads become useless since they don't lead to encounters any time I scroll the map to any direction.

Sprites are going to move due to super fast scrolling speeds, not because of the mod.
However, the mod does offer control on scrolling speeds. This will reduce the occurrences but will not eliminate it 100%.

Thanks, I hope it will help a lot!
Upd. Thanks again, mouse speed 4-5 works just fine with no sprite moved even after a full round. Can't guess why I didn't ask before.
