Pity that combat logs from old LOMSE championships were not found by me in the Graveyard subforum. This would be nice to learn about those battles more, not only the winner/loser and the last turn information.

Even more a nice idea would be recording final (or at least just Lord vs. Lord) battles using Fraps or something like that - the battles usually don't last for too long and will represent a nice youtube material.

The ultimate option would be recording the battle by a third side with recorded or post-recorded comments or even by the game engine, like it is done in Starcraft 1 with its replay system, with an ability to pause combat everytime the viewer wants. But this is more like a dream for now.

Yes, I believe that the best way to convey the epic-ness of these battles to those who were not a party to them would be video capture, as a running tally of damage inflicted is rather more reminiscent of my bank statement. ;D Or perhaps a verbal account with suitable embellishments:

That is barely possible for me, because no one knows how lomse.exe is hard-coded. However, I still hope.

You know, if I was one of those Gandhi-type-"be-the-change-you-want-to-see-in-the-world"-men-of-action, I just might. However, I am instead that sort of gadfly who proposes the obvious solutions but does not implement them. No, really though, I assumed that this was already possible (as in the youtube videos Orzie mentions), although perhaps this is not so simple in multiplayer.

Well, we've got some LOMSE gameplay videos on youtube, but nothing concerning multiplayer. This will be a new fresh material, which is kinda cool. I do not mean hours of turn-based game recorded when the players just level up on grey flag encounters, but only final battles or considerably interesting ones (not likely).

As the Lord vs. Lord battles usually do not last for too long, the size and length of videos will be entirely friendly to viewers. A nice demonstration of the mod balance improvements, in addition.
