Hail, I am CentaurMagic I'm having problems figuring out how to center the game on my screen
I just purchased LOMSE after not playing it for years and I've come to this forum with particular interest such as mods and what not but I'm having a problem with my game screen not centering. About a quarter of the top of the screen is above my screen not exsisting and on the bottom of my screen is a quarter of my screen black. If only I could adjust it by pulling it down some and I could play without problems. This makes it a puzzle to play and I'm not feeling for this type of puzzle. I've tried messing with my screen resolution without any luck i'm also unfamilir with these kinds of things and I would really appreciate a hand in fixing the problem so I may once again reign supreme in Urak once again.
1440x900 is highest screen resolution and 800x600 is lowest although I am not sure if that is the problem.
Please and thank you
CentaurMagic

The game's native resolution is 640x480.
I am super tired, but I will get back to you with more detail.

thank you so much. just as chess is a timeless game it's relevant to admit that a guy like you represents how a game like Lords of Magic is also timeless along with those who still play. Really appreciate your support.

I would have figured that your computer would automatically change the resolution to 640x480 when the game launched. It has done this for me on Windows 7 (the brief time I used it) and Windows XP & XP64.
There should be some compatibility options if you create a shortcut that will force to that resolution.
What OS are you on?

If you're in search for mods, GS5 Mod is what you want. That stuff really revives the game and allows to see the gameplay more widely. Just go to Mantera's Website and get it. You can find the changelog of the mod on this board, in the subforum named Mantera's LOMSE Website. Welcome back to Lords of Magic.
