I'm hoping this works on my new MAC and that I am able to modify it with the mod. Sorry for being lazy and not finding out for myself but has anything been added recently? New Stats or such? Thank you very much.

Sorry for being lazy and not finding out for myself but has anything been added recently? New Stats or such? Thank you very much. Current build is 3181, you can find the changelog here. Also, if you succeed playing LOMSE on Mac with and without the mod, please tell me - I'm gonna launch my Mac too and take it sometimes to travels, and I must proceed with my questmaking on it. So that I should know the aspects of LOMSE on this platform - it was never created for it by Impressions Games.

'Ello.
Since this is such a great game (well I always preferred LoM to SE... so I'm trying these new patches...) just wanted to say I have mac and should anyone need info I'll say here step by step how to do it (summary of above)
1. Get the wrapper 2. If it says untrusted app, need to bypass GateKeeper by right clicking and going open. 3. Install (I installed from a .iso too) 4. Download unRARx 5. Point the new .mpq's to the lomse folder, but obviously you can't run the .bat 6. rename and manually install
Great stuff that there is still a fanbase for such an awesome game, looking to rebuild new memories with the new mod! Thanks!

Glad to know things have worked out well for you. Orzie, thanks for assisting him.
My presence here at the board has been underwhelming as of late... an extra job and a fiance tend to do that.

Haha, well, I answered in this thread long ago. It's just the strange new forum design which doesn't show the post timing properly.
Lawl, I'm the Official now hehe! I bet it's something like Lvl 12 + Barbarian Arena.

Eek and I'm done again! Played the mod on easy death warrior - got bored after killing all the caves/towers etc in DE start area... moved onto life mage with water mage fealty on medium, finished easily and got bored.… last two days been playing air thief hard, probably the most fun in a long time, good micro required to kill entire spawns solo. killed every single cave/village/thing in game just a few bugs i think with the mac wrapper. game crashed 80% of time on killing a shade in combat screen, 15% on rock hurler, 60% on all fire/air elementals. i think given that i cant install any other game on my pc, this certainly fixed the craving I had for LoM. The balancing is very good, but I don't know what is mod or SE (because I played original), clearly no OP races, but just the AI is so defensive I can't really enjoy it. I've remembered games before where they used to spam mercs at me as I approached their capital because it was cheap and didn't require followers. I also didn't quite enjoy the artifacts as they seem too bland across the board. ie the earth/life/air thief weapons are nearly identical, as are the death/order/water warrior... kinda like find an artifact, see what class it is, then already know the bonuses. i ended up gifting resources to the enemy so that they could buff themselves up if that helped them show more aggression... i think against humans with limited pauses and with better strats, this game would be great because of the mechanics built in, but the ai didnt play legends of urak tho.. anycase

Weak AI for the colored flags is not the mod fault. Fortunately, Boaster was able to buff greyflag AI considerably.
As for the Legends of Urak, the behaviour of other players in Earth Legend is heavily scripted.
In the upcoming Life quest it will be also scripted, mostly.
Also I would recommend to create a separate thread about "My GS5 Mod Gaming Impressions" or something like that. Things you state here have less relation to the procedure of launching LOMSE on Mac than supposed. GS5 Mod and LOMSE work in the same way (except crashes) on different platforms, because wrapper is just an emulator.
I also think that LOMSE launching instructions for Mac and Linux should be clearly explained somewhere in the sticked thread zone. Perhaps I will do them myself.
