I have been wondering for quite some time what this mysterious writing might be. If i'm supposed to figure it out by myself, can i at least get a hint? If you don't know more than me either, maybe we can share ideas.

This only stands to mean that the player is not supposed to know what the shield does, beyond being helpful to an Arch Demon. |

How did you come up with that specific indecipherable writing? If i had to find some "random" text, that still looks like some cool runes, i wouldnt be sure at all how to start.

Personally, I think the "indecipherable" writing was a kickass effect for mystique. Hope you have plans to consider introducing more "Unique" indecipherable artifacts in GS6, should such a version be undertaken.

Balkoth's shield is such an obscure artifact to get ahold of anyway. One would have to slay Balkoth or Steal from him. |

Does this shield ever appear in the game actually? I have never met it.
And does it give any profit to Valkyrie? Due to GS5 Mod tradition, most shields are profitable for both Arch Demon and Valk classes.

Due to GS5 Mod tradition, most shields are profitable for both Arch Demon and Valk classes. Whereable by DEATH ORDER EARTH CHAOS WATER Wizards only. Only Balkoth benefits from its use. This artifact only appears with Balkoth in single player on Hard Mode. Makes him extra strong. |

Haha, well, Balkoth's Scythe should be no less powerful according to the LOM intro.
