New Champion Names

I want to make an opportunity for fans of LOMSE (and the mod) to submit their ideas for New Champion Names.

There aren't any restrictions, but I would advise that if you do have any you want to have added to the mod, please provide the names you favor (like) the most.

If your submission doesn't get added, it's not personal, it's not because I do not like you, or anything like that. Plainly, I will say that not all contributions are created equal.

Space out your ideas (without being obnoxious and using 25 'carriage returns') and let the best ones shine.

Key Details to include:
[1] Faith, [2] Champion, and [3] Primary, Secondary or Combo for which the name would apply to.


Ideas may be for primary names, or secondary names. Ideas may also be for two name combos which would appear exclusively together (i.e. Eric Cartman, Bart Simpson).

A nice thread. Currently GS5 mod lacks creative names sometimes - I feel embarrassed when, say, my Lavawalker engages Airwalker, and then runs from Swampwalker. You get the idea.

My ideas are more heading towards surnames. I think that each Faith champions should have surnames/nicknames which are not alike the ones from other faiths. This will help to differentiate the faiths from each other and certainly help to get the game atmosphere. I honestly don't like much the idea with the same derivational constructions for each faith, so I will try to create more unique surnames.

The game Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim illustrates well the advantages of unique nicknames for each class of heroes - they start having a personality.

A lot of these names are primarily primary names (see what I did there ) for Order champions or possibly Life as well as I've observed that many of them look like they follow celtic traditions (i.e. Irish/Welsh/Scottish). However, most of these have been extracted from Arthurian legend one way or another. they aren't necessarily champion specific, but obviously, that can be discussed ;D : (Not in any particular order as such)

Gawain, Gwalchmei, Gualguanus, Gauvain, Walwein, Agravain, Gaheris, Gareth, Gingalain, Libeaus, Culhwch, Olwen, Geoffrey, Roman, Percival, Peredur, Wolfram, Thomas, Alain, Pellinore, Galahad. Lohengrin, Elyan, Bors, Blandegoris, Sagramore, Ector, Antor, Kay, Robert, Owain, Yvain...

Female:
Florence, Lovell, Dindrane, Blanchefleur, Claire.…

This isn't final as there are many more where these came from, it's just an idea of the sort of names I think would be apt.

Also, a point on secondary names for Order Champions:
I reckon (of what I've seen), these maybe should follow, French and German/Dutch traditions (possibly indicating a place they hail from) such as 'de Troyes', 'von Eschenbach' because I think these imply chivalry and honour more than anything, I can give more examples should you feel the need. I hope you'll consider these.
