I have indeed been working on the mod some. I presently don't have easy access to the website, but this may change soon.
I have been slowly working the consolidated cave encounter tables that has been listed in the future changes for a long time. There's also another list of undocumented things I plan to make edits to.
Some planned adjustments, in no particular order: - Change makearmy5.gs to utilize 'give_exp_level' instead of using static experience values. - Have the levels scale gradually with dungeon level. Perhaps through use of an array and dynamic controls that adjust automatically with the difficulty level. - Change levelmods5.gs to not touch units who have a static experience level (i.e. Shades, Demons, Dragons, et al). - Make an adjustment to the way text is displayed in stat icons... Make it so the stat icons which use small numbers can have two rows and be centered vertically in the icon area, and also be vertically centered if there is only one row.
The makearmy adjustments will have a minor impact in the game. The level mods change will not be noticed particularly.
The stat icon text change will not impact game play, but will offer expanded options for artifact stat icon displays. This particular change, if successful, will lend it to tightening some artifact bonuses.
So even though the updates have been scarce, I've been planning some updates.
