I've mixed up two sets of music with ambiance: Death and Water. Both files are about 53 minutes in length. The Full Death Mix consists of the Death and Fire music, plus swamp ambiance with an underlay of random ambient SFX from the game. The Full Water Mix consists of the Air and Water music, plus water ambiance with an underlay of random ambient SFX from the game, as well as additional wind SFX. At some point, the random ambient SFX almost seem inaudible. They're there. Links to the files: impz.xorgate.com/LOMSE/Full_Death_Mix.rarimpz.xorgate.com/LOMSE/Full_Water_Mix.rarIf the links don't work, I'll relink them to another location.

One of the things I wanted to avoid in making these Ambience/Music mixes were predictable loops that a person could catch on to it. I know that when I listen to audio, I begin to recognize patterns and loops. There are no "loops" or patterns per se. I did use my audio production knowledge skills to make it as interesting to the ear as possible. When you detect a loop in music, it actually will create adverse effects. Similar to when you hear the same hit song over and over again, gets stuck in your head... and so forth.

Sorry, but what's DF2?
Also, as far away from sounding like a Taylor Swift song music gets, the better IMO.

Oops, much sorries. I must have mistaken you with one of our users with the same nickname. DF2 is a forum dedicated to HoMM3 modding.
