Dear whoever made this mod to add some flavor to my beloved LOMSE.

Now that that's done, I'm curious. Is anyone aware of how the class of each faith's leader is chosen? Is it random, or does the game seem to pick one class to ignore? One of my favorite things to do is to play on EZ mode as Life and assimilate all the Faiths to try and generate 3 ideal "Lordal" (7 Lords + Lancelot + a strong champion of whatever class is missing) armies mixing and matching faiths to optimize ground movement. I always get too many thieves or too many mages, etc. Am I just getting really, really unlucky, or does the game conspire not to allow that?

Hopefully someone corrects me if I'm wrong, but I believe its a combination of difficulty level and some scripting. Each Lord has (x)% chance of being populated as one class or another based on if you're playing on Easy/Hard, meaning its fairly difficult to control which faiths receive which type of Lord. I've noticed on my playthroughs with a Water High Priestess that the Fire faith (natural enemy) is almost also a mage lord, I'd assume because of script balancing?

Unmodded, it's a straight equal random chance of each class type, except Death which always got Balkoth. In the modded GS5R3, its mostly equal, but some difficulty levels add variations for some faiths and on Hard, Death AI is always Balkoth.

Thanks, the ability to purchase extra lord units in the leader editor has helped me balance out my armies. This mod is great. It makes so many units that were just horrendous actually worth using now which is fantastic. The new artifacts and spells are pretty fun, too. Another question about lord generation. I think I noticed that the greater artifacts spawn based on what Lords have populated the world. Is this true, or is it just a coincidence?

I'm fairly certain that the greater artifacts are directly linked to what type of lord each faith has yes. EX - Chaos Legendary Chakram only populates when Chaos has a Thief lord.
