Ok, I don't know where to ask this so I'll ask here, I bought and downloaded the game, but I can't get to install, I used Daemon tools to mount, tried putting both setup and auto-run in compatibility mode for win XP and Win 7 so I need a little help to get back on track and get it installed any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Win X, but I think it was something on my end, a display glitch or something like that because when trying to switch between monitors it suddenly popped up with the installation window and progress bar. Will post again after it fully installs or if I need help.

I thought it was because it seemed to start installing but after the white box pops up and I click install it goes away and seems to continue running in the background but nothing happens, I've let it sit for a week at one point to see if it would start installing but it just ran in the background and the Install Manager didn't pop up at all. I had the disk a really long time ago so I know what it would do if it was installing, I'm just at a loss for a solution to my current prediciment.

You might try to just copy files from the ISO/CD into a directory and try running the game that way.

LOMSE native resolution is 640x480. If this helps.

[Laugh out Loud] yea I noticed, which isn't a problem it'll just be a small window surrounded by a big black box [Laugh out Loud], but I got it to work and I"m grateful to have found it so cheap thanks a ton for everything
So turns out that autoplay didn't work because it wants the disk inserted so yea. I'm on windows 10 and I've tried every compatibility mode, ran it as admin and it just wont complete the install.

Well I'm not worried about it not installing or letting me play it because I'll be getting a new computer soon that I know can run the game, and as I said before I"m truly grateful for the ability to play one of my old favorite games.

Try running the auto-run in compatibility mode for win98. I tried everything that you did, same problems - the bar and the Sierra logo popped up but closed after a few minutes with installer still running in the background. Went back and changed to win98 and the setup immediately resumed. got it installed and everything is working now.
