My first win on GS5 in 103 turns with an Easy Earth Warrior (started with Lode Axe and two infantry).
I made good relations with everyone except air and kept death's attitude neutral by double researching (using death village library for more spells to gift. Around turns 60-70 i think, Chaos (Trusted) killed Air (lucky for me) leaving only death's distaste for me and the rest at Pact or higher. At this point I had an accurate estimate that death's military power was about even with my own but i knew a lot of his forces were scattered around Urak busy with killing and destroy things. I saw an opportunity i couldn't resist and took full advantage...
I conquered Death's Capital and entire city by turn 100 with my main army and Venom (Death's thieflord) managing to slip away from me in combat multiple times with stealth. On turn 103 i noticed he was just standing around east of my army with a small force not doing much of anything (probably sobbing and gently applying tissues under his eyes) so i jumped on him and managed to kill from quickly with ranged attacks as his small force tried to escape. I was able to get a Great Worm east into my main force just before killing Venom. I could have kept going as Chaos' military strength was now like 85% and probably would have been interesting but decided i wanted to try a new game on a different faith.
I would like to thank the Lord of Chaos for whacking the pesky Air Lord and giving me the opportunity to embarrass the forces of death in a purely one sided campaign.
