Hello, I recently purchased this game from my childhood on Steam. I am running on Windows 10 and this is the error I get upon trying to launch the game. The error reads "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000022). Click OK to close the application." Any tips on fixing this. Looking at Steam records I purchased the game on May 17, 2017 @ 6:48pm price $4.99. Was a fun game from my childhood, hope to be able to play it at some point. Other Info Laptop - Gaming Processor - Intel Core i7-3740QM CPU (2.70GHz) Ram - 8GB Operating type -64-bit Operating System Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX If you need any more info let me know

However, the good news is there are people who have bought the game from Steam and do have Windows 10, and can play the game. You might try using the compatibility options and try running the application with an earlier OS. Compatibility options should be available after right clicking the EXE, or a shortcut, and going to properties.

Welp got rid of the error message, replaced with a silent crash. I hit play and nothing.

Have you tried to run it as an administrator?

I'm having almost the exact same issue. Using Windows 10, I've tried compatibility mode with all the windows versions and running as administrator. I keep getting the same error message. I've even used a CD from my roommate to see if the issue was with a Steam download. The Steam download and the disc install have the exact same issue. Any suggestions?
