Mod req: Finish the 301 Beta Patch!

GS5 is quite an achievement.

The next step, LOMSE 301 classic!

--essentially a slight editing of the 301 beta gs files to remove the bugs. this would "finish" LOMSE once and for all. Advertise on the newsgroups!

This in my opinion, which shouldn't be that difficult to complete, you know where all the 301 bugs are at, though I did find where the Pegasus critter was in the low level encounter!

If you were not able to do it, maybe you could point out the 301 bugs you found/know of and I could have a look at them?

The GS Zero already tackles this problem, in addition to slightly improving/adjusting the Map Editor and Lord Editor and adds the multiplayer fix of no automatic switch to Balkoth. However, this also unfortunately removed Balkoth from the game.

I suppose I can do a revised GS Zero and put Balkoth and the Lich into the mix of potential enemy Lords. Balkoth can be played by a Human player, if he uses the Lord Editor.

Yes we GOTTA have Balkoth, anyway I was unaware of this regarding GS0, either I was not paying attention to its earlier description or thought it was a far earlier version of GS5.

Once its finished up then rename it to LOMSE patch 301 COMPLEAT or some such and place a couple of ads around the newsgroups to drive interest.

Ive seen the game still available on CD jewel (forget the torrent, pay 10 bucks and get the music too) in CompUSA and also on Amazon.com. But its still with its 3.00 bugs not being able to complete a quest, the spiders and other issues. This would finally take care of all that and keep in line with the game videos.
