What affect has Balkoth's Shield exactly? Defence X/3, Physical Resistance +10, Poison enemy when hit. What else? I think it is better to run with the Scythe and the Unholy Staff, because of the higher mana.

Casts Dispel Magic (Death). Decreases diplomatic relations every 7th turn while worn. +5 Armor. +5 Hit Recovery Bonus. +5 Moved Health Recovery. +5/3X Physical Resistance (+5 per 3 levels). +5/3X Magic Resistance (+5 per 3 levels).
In Combat... Regenerates Balkoth's Health 1 HP per 15 seconds. Balkoth gets full health after combat. +5 Armor versus Life Creatures. -5 Armor versus Death Creatures. Reduces attacker Critical Strike, Deadly Strike, Crushing Blow and Piercing Attack to zero (1%). 5% chance to invoke Golgoth's Gift upon attackers.
All effects, except Diplomatic Relations dropping, are only when worn by Balkoth. Champions who are not the Arch Demon may wear this shield to receive the Decrease in diplomatic relations every 7th turn and the ability to cast Dispel Magic.

I forgot to add this, but Balkoth's Shield will automatically unequip itself if a Non-Arch Demon tries to hold it. So never mind the relations being applicable to non-Balkoth users, since only he can use it.
Balkoth's Scythe offers the Arch Demon +25% Attack, Ranged Attack,and Missile Range, +1/3X Luck, +6/5X Crystals Per Turn (+6 per 5 levels, up to +18).
In combat, it provides the Arch Demon a 25% chance to perform a Multi Shot, for other Champions will provide a +25% boost to performing Multi Shot, but will not enable them to do so and will need their respective weapon artifact equipped in the other slot to gain the benefit (i.e. Grand Ranger with the Legendary Spitfire and Balkoth's Scythe will grant 50% chance of Multi Shot combined); 100% chance to perform a Vampyric Attack (25% melee damage to health, 12.5% ranged damage to health); and grants a 2% chance of Vorpal Attack on striking, granting an instant +500 experience bonus.
With the 2% Vorpal (insta-kill) attack, this 2% is reduced and modified determined by specific factors.
2 + Attacker Luck; If Defender is Unique, divide by 2; If attack is Ranged, divide by 2; If attacker level is less than 10, divide by 2; If Defender Level (+1 if Unique) > Attacker Level, divide by 2;
For Unique Defenders (Leaders, Lords, Heirs, Special Champions ) it is supposed to Stun the target instead of Instantly kill it.
