My friend and i are not crazy tech savy but we have downloaded and installed LOMSE with your gs5 mod. We dl the ipxwrapper and put it in the gameranger AND the LOM game directory and executed the x64 bit. When i go to host a game it is aborting immediately. I have opened ports and disabled. I have even tried cutting and pasting the entire game folder out of GOG's folder and in its own spot in program files and nodda. i dont know what else to try. Kali's registration is not working too, im not getting any email with my code.

IPXwrapper is necessary for two computers on the same network, or for a service that utilizes the protocol. I would suggest either using KALI, or setting up a PPTP VPN to bridge two networks. If security is paramount, then I would recommend OpenVPN. If you used Kali, Kali would act as a server or as a link to get two players connected (depends on which method you use, lobby or open game on a serer). PPTP is natively supported in any windows OS. Would require one computer to be the server, and the other the client. OpenVPN would require the same as PPTP, though would require additional software installation. OpenVPN will surely become something useful down the road if you begin to learn to use it now. GameRanger is extremely picky about how it will work. I have not used it literally in years. Between Kali and GameRanger, Kali is more reliable but the GameRanger interface is friendlier.
