Hello Mantera, and all the other Lords of Magic fans out there who read this!
I'm sorry Mantera but I want to remake the G5 mod completely, you had some good things in it but there are a lot of things you added that ruined it even worse than what Lords of Magic: Special Edition already is. Some things I liked are: The increased amount of seen stats when you click on your characters, some of the displays you added for the menus, you switched the name of Lancelot to be just the Legendary Knight, you made the map larger it seemed (Or did you just move the temples?)… Things I didn't like were: The see through menus that look confusing with the backgrounds at times, I didn't like the longer names, it was bad that you could choose random names and 75% of them or more were super lame, the 3 lords at once is also lame, I don't like the resource maximum put up to 25 for each city; it's kind of like you were trying to cut corners instead of making something of true quality like Lords of Magic: Special Edition is. I have to reinstall Lords of Magic: Special Edition now that I put this lame mod onto the computer. I like you Mantera, but this mod needs a lot of work and I'm taking a course in C++ soon so I'll help you.
So... I think we should make these changes instead to Lords of Magic: Special Edition:
* We need to keep everything about the towns and cities the same as in the original game except we are going to bring the city upgrade limit up to level 5 to make a longer game. At Level 4, the city size increases in diameter on the map, at level 5, it increases a bit more. I'm a great artist so I can take the right kind of patience and creativity to make this happen.
* Then we need to make a raze city feature to permanently make ruins out of each of the 5 levels for every city including level 0. And permanently raze the barracks, thieves guild, mage tower, and library. Permanently raze the great temples.
* Bigger maps.
* Remove ruins feature. (So you can completely annihilate a faith's record of ever being there.)
* And we are going to work on the graphics so they're a lot less choppy, more smooth, and much more beautiful. Maybe even make the whole game 4k and HDR.
* If you really want longer names then we have to completely redo the whole interface to make the entire name readable at all times instead of just part of it.
* We got to take the Pegasus at level 1 places out.
* (I have more ideas but that's it for now.)
Good bye guys!
