Any new maps? It is dull playing on the same old one that hardly changes. Also any that spread resources out more evenly? As a mage leader you use a lot of crystal and Order never starts near any unless they vassalize Air.

Here's my map! I suggest you do not open it in the map editor before playing, so you can actually explore it while playing. I don't consider it 100% finished, but it is certainly playable. Feel free to send your feedebacks after playing. Here's some lore to introduce the map:
The armies of Balkoth remain hidden in a secluded island. Darkness will not strike fast, but its force will be immense. Make sure to unite or defeat your neighbours before setting sail for a final battle.

Glad this place is still up and running in 2019...love it. So I have several rather intense maps that I never advertised very thoroughly, so they might as well be "new" to most people. Most of my maps are characterized by being larger than normal, having a ton of encounters and roughly equal resources per player (12-15 of each resource in mines/breweries/crystals in each region), and most of them have rather exceptional terraforming that you will not see on any other map, due to the fact that I used hex-editing to create some of the more dramatic elevation features. The idea is to expand on the world of Urak, and make it interesting enough for great replay value. So I recommend you check out "Myrddin's maps" halfway down the page of the link provided by Lemminkainen. You may also might want to try my savegame quests, which can be found here: impz.proboards.com/thread/2060/quest-attemptimpz.proboards.com/thread/2079/new-quest-call-heroesimpz.proboards.com/thread/2090/new-quest-malice-immortalIn the first one "quest attempt," AKA Master of the Elements, you are a Water Valkyrie who must fight the alliance of Dark Faiths and progress until you can defeat the Lord of Death. There are a couple of logistical puzzles to figure out along the way, but they are generally encapsulated in "Mastering the Elements." The second quest is much like the Arthurian/Order Quest and features many of the encounters and artifacts from that quest and the Siegfried quest, including the Holy Grail. In that quest you must defeat the reincarnated (and much more powerful) Mordred and his host of dark allies, but you have the aid of many heroes to do so. In the third quest, you are a disembodied necromancer whose shade is trapped in the soul-prison of Karnog after defeat by an army of the Seven Faiths. You must escape and regain your body, and visit the minions of light with death and destruction. Here are some relevant images that may tempt you, let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for sharing, Myrddin! I don't think I've already played your maps. Well I've actually been lurking here since 2006 and I'm not sure, maybe I did but I don't recall.
