While the Xorgate webserver is still in disrepair, as far as I am concerned for what I use it for, I have been working on an alternate 'world wide web' home for the LOMSE website and files. I have been able to accomplish making my own local webserver, in that routing is working. The only thing I do not have is a static IP address. There are also some quirks about the web service package I am using in how it behaves. For the time being, it is meant to serve as simple way for people to download updates. Here's a preview. Very basic, ya? I've got a webserver and a FTPes (FTP explicit security) server going. Just very basic stuff to start.

Click on the link associated with the build number, as seen in that thread.

The links aren't working for me. The Number just gives me a spinning wheel of infinite loading in a new tab, and the "(alt)" gives me an access denied. I could just be doing it wrong though!

View AttachmentView AttachmentI'm not entirely certain. I am able access the file when I outside my network, and can also verify it is working by connecting also through HTTP proxy. The ALT is likely the fault of AWS. I will have to investigate further.

Boaster, I'm so sorry I forgot to check. 3239 is definitely working for me. I haven't launched because I'm busy with an Old World campaign, but I'm due for a LOMSE soon. Also, when are you going to update your contributors? Last update 2015??

Also, when are you going to update your contributors? Last update 2015?? Contributors where? Be specific please. Also, there was a point in time where paypal contributors would be credited in the mod. This was shifted to getting the full Game Script Manual that I authored. There were also points in time where some individuals were reporting and assisting with bugs and issues. And it was a regular thing.

Public IP got reset. It is now 47.24.213.49 for the private webserver. Also signed up for the No-IP dynamic DNS service. Page is now accessible through: lomse.ddns.net/

I have a problem that I suspect is my fault, but I tried reinstalling the mod and it didn't change anything. It could be that I have to start a new game. Anyway, what's happening is that (sprites?) characters, buildings, and resource nodes are out of sync with the map. Those things are shifted to the "east", causing some to end up in the water. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks! P.S. I will see what a new game looks like. Edit: I started a new game, disabled the shroud and verified that the problem was still there. I will try verifying local files with Steam and reinstall the mod. Edit 2: I verified local files in Steam, which replaced 3 files. I then started the new game, verified that the map was good and quit. Then I installed GS5R3-3240 and PIC5R3 from the link on lomse.ddns.net/. I started a new game and it has the same problem as before. I noticed you liked my post. Do you any problems like this?

Hi Boaster, What is the IMP_PCX download for? Thanks! Someone requested LOMSE sprites converted from native IMP format PCX format, which is more easily readable by most paint programs.

If using the mod, with a party selected, presst he space bar on the overland map. Or press the HOME key to center on your leader's party, or press the END key to center on your nearest owned capital city. Using the arrow keys for scrolling can also help alleviate this. Mouse scrolling, as nice as it is, is the culprit.

Speed 4 works fine for me, but people can experiment with their own PCs. Thanks!

I like to like posts by new posters to encourage participation. The only technical issue ive had in LoMSE is slowdown in large combats even on modern systems that vastly exceed specs: still havent pinpointed the precise cause of that Try turning off combat logs?
