So I'm in the early stages of creating a spiritual successor to Lords of Magic, and have been working away creating a lot of the art assets for the game. The game currently uses the working title "Lords of Al'or" and will use the Unreal Engine 5 game design environment, but I am looking for someone to work with on creating this project, obviously they will need good Unreal Engine skills.
If you're interested, please check out my blog (Link below), where I’ve detailed a lot of my work so far and provides some additional information regarding the project. If you think this might be something you're interested in, then feel free to PM me and I can provide more info.
Thanks.

I've been away from most games for awhile now. I'm glad to see someone pressing on with a project like that.
Some say the spiritual successor to LOMSE was Age of Wonders 2. It's a pretty cool game, and I've played through it.

But i am interested in helping i have some unreal 5, mostly unreal 4 experience . Blueprint but can do some c scripting. I say we start small do what we can. I might make a post later, i am halfway through making small mini game. Have my Amazon thief against AI skeletons. i tried to stay close to original animations and feel. I will take a closer look at your blog page but it looked awesome at a quick glance. That said i seen alot your models they are nice. Ive been doing alot of rigging if you need help with that.

Hey there, I had thought you might be a good person to work with but wasnt sure whether you were still about! I would much rather work with someoneI also work a 9 till 5 job, so I know what It's like trying to find free time to actually spend on projects like this, its difficult! Can I ask how serious youa re about this project? I'm looking for a partner in this endevour, where we would both be game directors with a 50% stake in the project. I envisage it to be a commercial release (charged) as we could then dedicate more resources into making a great game, and even potentially be able to work fulltime on the project, possibly hiring outside help as well. We could also release expansions and DLC through Steam, so the game could reach its full potential.
I agree with small at first, perhaps just get the basic mechanics down and iterate on that.
I've done a bit of rigging and animation myself, but I'm by no means pro. Creating custom made animations from scratch is so time-consuming, I’ve taken to using stock brought animations and editing them to match. Here's a little example of some Air Theif animations using this technique (Sorry for poor video quality!)
