i am waiting for years for it to come
the first one that i played it was full of bugs.i would like to play a finished game.but it was such an amazing only that looks unfinished.please make the second!

Does anyone know of any "similar" games to LoM, which true followers (like us) could play in the meantime while waiting for a real LoM sequel? With round/pause-based fights, entire worlds to conquer and possibility to have heroes?

No game is like Lords of Magic.
But Age of Wonder 2: Shadow Wars, Disciples 2 (part 3 comming this year or the next), Heroes of Might and Magic (2,3,5), Spellforce 1+2, and Warcraft 3 offer a lot of fun and replayability.
By the way I forgot to add Rise of Legends. A steam punk/magic fantasy strategy game. There are even other fantasy strategy games out there, but they could have been better imho. Games such as Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, Armies of Exigo (it´s good in some ways!), Seven Kingdoms: Conquest, Heroes of Annihilated Empires,


ps: I was just browsing the web for LoM:SE stuff/info/files and then I found a weird story about X files and … prn called "Lords of Magic 2 : The Storm Giants"
It´s so weird that I stopped reading. But see for yourself...

If you think this is inapropriate, go ahead and delete the link. I just find it odd that someone would write such a story about LoM and X - files. So weird indeed that I thought I have to share it with you. I hope no offense is taken.

I have the game LOM, it was the first game that I got. And for ten years LOM it continues being my favorite game. I have not had the pleasure of playing the game LOMSE.
LOM is a very special game, does that "you play for hours and do not stop amusing". LOM is a real marvel.
I dream that some day goes out some sequel.

I hadnt played LOMSE untill afew months ago, I definitly would take the plunge and upgrade to it, the game is so much more fun and balanced. You can download it with Mantera mod on this site.
