Do you want to see 3D graphics in LOM2? Like Heroes of might and Magic V? I Don't think it's necessary, but a implement in graphics will be cool.

If they were done like the modeling and 3d graphics in Warcraft III, I'd say yes. But there will always be a 2D interface and buttons.

Sincerely I wait that not. These graphs often break the beautiful graphs of the games. But I believe that this can concern negatively the sales of the game.
Sinceramente yo espero que no. Estos gráficos a menudo rompen los bellos gráficos de los juegos. Pero creo que esto puede afectar negativamente a las ventas del juego.

plenty of classic RTS and TBS games have been completely mullered by 3D graphics, Stronghold, Age of Empires to name the obvious ones.
Hurrah for 2 dimensions!

I think there's a lot of games that are better as 2-D games. Like Castlevania and Megaman X games. And some are better in 3-D. I think a LOM2 in 3-D would be good.

Yeah, I love the old Mega Man games and Castlevania SOTN on PSX and Saturn. But I think 3d would be good for LOM... as long as it is done right. I wouldn't mind seeing a graphics engine like the last installment of HoMM. I thought it looked great, and seeing the Undead and Hell-Type cities really helped me visualize what LOM would look like with more modern graphics.

Hmm, possibly. If it were done properly then maybe. But if it's like Empire Earth III or AOE III or something like that then no. I think it messes it up a bit.

LoM already uses 3d for terrain and it looks ugly, compared to Magic & Mayhem or Stronghold. LoM also has issue with high-granularity map, where player cant easily estimate unit sizes and areas of effect. You cant, for example, place guardian at choke-point and be sure that nobody will pass around. Terraforming is also harder in continuous 3d worlds.
