Hey guys,
Hope this is the right section for introductions, I just found this site today after following a youtube link, so nice to see other people still play this game! I was begining to think I was the only one.
To say I love LOM would be an understatement, me and my sister have been playing LOM on and off since it came out many years ago, its always been the game I come back to.
I don't think anyother game has managed to create such a unique and rich fantasy game and I'm a major fan of all the backstory aswel. If you havnt read the storys in the original LOM manual you should, they're realy well writen.
I havnt got round to playing LOMSE yet as I tried the Demo and they're where alot of things that realy put me off but I'm planing to try it with Mantera's mod and play all the quests.
I'd also be interested in playing multiplayer with someone but I'm not much of a computer guru so not sure how I'd go about that.

Hi Areille. This is the General Discussion forum. It's sort of just a whatever where you can talk about... whatever! If you want to talk about LOM here, that's fine. More people might read LOM stuff in the LOMSE forums though  I've read the manual, but over time that information fades. I think games should remain more so as just being games. Sort of the way Warcraft II was, although there was a story behind it. I hope you enjoy the mod. Perhaps you and I can make arrangements for a multiplayer game. Although, you might want to get some experience under your belt playing with the mod. I wouldn't want to be tempted to abuse the loopholes and bugs of the unmodded game if we were to play it. |

I wouldn't want to be tempted to abuse the loopholes and bugs of the unmodded game if we were to play it. The thought of actualy playing against a human player for a change sounds great! The computer can be realy predictable, I just ordered the LOMSE off Amazon so I'm waiting for that to arrive, I know I can DL it here for free but I want the manual aswell, yes I know I'm a complete LOM Fanatic :0 Thats the one! Not the best LOM clip but brought back afew memories  |
