For starters I'd like to thank you guys for getting this site up. I've always loved this game (it's my favorite). I'm very happy to find other people who felt the same about this game. I wanted to get into the Multi-Player of LOM/SE for a while but could never figure out how. I just want to check if I have all the steps right with you guys before I crash my system. This is how I understand the procedure, please correct me if I'm wrong. 1)right click "network neighborhood" 2)press Add 3)Protocol press ok 4a)Manufactues list:Microsoft 4b)IPX/SPX compatible Protocol 5)Restart computer 6)Load LOM>Multi-player>LAN>Create After these steps are done on both of our computers I'm hoping I will be able to play my Dad on the other computer. Again, Thanks

Your steps appear to be the right direction. However, the two computers must be connected to the same network. In what manner are your computers connected?
Are they connected by:
1. switch/hub with 10 base-T wire and network cards? 2. wireless network?
If any of the aformentioned connection methods are what you are using, then it should work fine.

Thank you, we're both hooked up to the same wireless network. Computer 1 is connected to the internet and has a router. Computer 2 is connected via an adapter.

Having trouble finding "Network Neighborhood". Do you know where it is on Windows XP? Every network connection that I've checked doesn't have and "Add" option. I hopw to battle some of you guys soon.
