Bug Report: Broken Building Experience Display LOMSE Version: 3.02.3042 Mod Type: GS5R3 Mod Date: 04/26/2011 Bug Information: This bug was present in the previous version of GS5R3, I just didn't get around to reporting it. Here's what's happening: it used to be in the past that when you station a champion in a military building to impart experience to new recruits, two experience bars would appear. One of these was green and showed how much experience will be imparted in a day, the other was blue and showed how much total experience will be imparted during the champion's stay. But now, for whatever reason, the blue bar no longer appears, only the green bar is present. And for some reason the green bar also appears for Mercenaries, which seems strange if Mercenary experience depends only on... is it your Lord's experience? The savegame file should show my Death party stationed in a barracks. You can look at unit experience to see the bug. Mercenary experience is not gained from champions but depends on how many turns have passed.

The 'Rusted Dagger' (Earth) provides +2 stealth. This is not mentioned in its description.
I would find it convenient to see in what slots an artifact can be equipped. could this be displayed in the artifact description?

Gs5r3 Version 3.02.3051 download 5/08/2011
The 'Wave Blade' (Water legendary) provides +50 fire and water resistance. This is not mentioned in its description.
The 'Crossbow of Balance' (Order legendary) has +5 stealth in its description. However, it does not provide that.
The 'Ring of Windfall' (Earth) provides +2 rate of attack; the description says +2 attack instead. I am aware that the version is not the latest, but the download seems broken atm. i will just try in an hour or so.

Hooray for New Artifacts! Looking forward to put trollhide belt on my Orc Warload. I like the ring artifacts - simple, straightforward, practical.
Just one minor thing: The date on the thread says 5/24 when it should be 6/24. No biggie but it might mislead someone to think this isn't a new update

Hi, been playing LOMSE on and off for years and stumbled onto this mod. Looked like fun. The problem I'm having is that the icons on the play map skew a bit so that nothing matched up. Dungeons in the water for instance. Even in the map editor. Make a terrain change and it will happen several inches away from your cursor. I think I have the most resent update so I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas?

I think I have the most resent update so I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas? This is not a problem with the mod, but rather a problem with the game's internal handling of scrolling. As a result of ludicrous speed scrolling of the mouse, the map becomes unsynchronized. Use new scrolling options in mod and set world scrolling speed lower than what you presently have. These settings will save to a file and will re-load upon starting a new game, or loading a new game. To re-align icons to the map, hit the Space Key to center on your present army, or hit the LARGE Magnifying glass icon in the bottom left to center and re-adjust your present location.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. And on a side note, this mod is just a great idea, takes one of the best games out there and re-invents it for the fans. Thanks for all the work you guys have put into it.

Many hours ago, I made an Air Mage hold a Ring of Giants which said it would increase his movement by 4 but it only increased it by 2.

Hey Mantera. Maybe it's just my shitty-ass computer, but there seems to be a pair of severe glitchs with the most recent release of the mod, with one's parties being unable to entre gold mines, crystal mines, breweries or statues (even the autocalc option just leaves your party standing outside the building as if you had pressed "retreat") and also the game lagging like a bastard when running through the AI players' turns after the first turn (I.E. The game runs through the AIs turns nice and smoothly the first time you hit end turn and go from day 1 to day 2, but thereafter it lags like nobody's buisness while running through them).
Note that I even tried a complete reinstall of LOMSE and that doing so made absolutely no difference.

This is entirely possible. It might be an unintended effect of some modification made to the mod. I'd have to isolate it and reproduce it, then figure it out.

Awesome. Works perfectly now. Thanks mate! EDIT: Oh no wait, it's only partially fixed (bah, this is what happens when I decide to check the new update right when I'm rushing out the door and don't have time to do more than enter one dungeon and then post!). Mine, brewery and statue battles do indeed work fine, but AI turns after the first day (so from Day 2 AI turns onwards) still chug like nobody's buisness...
