Hey there! I think the Ring of Dexterity is a cheat artifact for thieves. It gives a huge boost to the Defense and Ranged Attack. The malus to strenght and wisdom is not worth mentioning... You may be right. It has been rather difficult making them worth using without them giving too much or too little. Any suggestion?

Maybe you can put it into a more difficult dungeon? Because ATM you can get it from Level 3 hideouts. Another suggestuion is, to ge tonly +6 dex instead of +12?

The reason why Thieves would benefit from that ring the most is because thieves are heavily reliant on Dexterity for ranged attack power, armor and critical strike bonuses. After some consideration, I may have to change these rings to level based mods. Each stat ring will provide to it's primary stat: [3 + 3X/4]. Level 1-4: +3 Level 5-7: +6 Level 8-11: +9 Level >12: +12 The secondary stats will experience [0 - 2X/4]. Level 1-4: 0 Level 5-7: -2 Level 8-11: -4 Level >12: -6 This provides up front benefits for low level champions, and kicks in the benefit and penalty as they rise up in level. So a Ring of Dexterity will provide +3/6/9/12 Dexterity, and -0/2/4/6 Strength and Wisdom. [Str/Dex/Wis] At Level 3: 0/+3/0 At Level 6: -2/+6/-2 At Level 9: -4/+9/-4 At Level 14: -6/+12/-6 Level 10 Units will not get more than a +9 boost or -4 penalty.

Just name your lord as one of the Marauder Lord types at start of the game. Orc Warlord for Warrior, don't remember the name for the witch lord. You can rename your Lord in-game.

Witch is for Witch Lord I tried it that way yesterday, but it hasn't worked. edit: Got it! When you start the game as an marauder lord the capital units are the "normal ones" at the first turn. In the next turn they become the marauder units...

Staff of Drowning improves Attack Rate by 5. This is not mentioned in the artifact description. I stumbled across this as life, then confirmed by starting a fresh game as order mage with the staff.

I just downloaded gs5r3 build 3195. In game, none of my parties appear in the unit roster list. A single party still seems to be chosen, as its upkeep is displayed and i can jump to its position on the map. This holds true both for new games and old saves. I havent played in a while, so i dont remember for certain whether this bug was introduced just now or might have been there before.

Likely has to do with another mass text change I did and this was a side effect. Thanks for the info! I'll work on a fix soon!
